Meet Izzy!<br/><br/>Izzy is a beautiful brindle Plott Hound mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Her journey began in the mountains of West Virginia, where she and her siblings were found living as strays. They arrived at the Chance Foundation at approximately five months of age, and nearly a year later, Izzy is still patiently waiting for a family to call her own.<br/><br/>While she can be a little shy when first meeting new people, Izzy is incredibly sweet, kind, and gentle-natured. She walks beautifully on a leash, loves other dogs, and truly doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Once she feels safe and comfortable, her loving personality begins to shine.<br/><br/>We don't want to see this wonderful girl spend her life growing up in a kennel when she has so much love to give. Izzy deserves a family of her own, a cozy place to rest, and someone who will give her the chance she deserves.<br/><br/>Izzy can be adopted on her own or together with her brother, Iggy, with whom she shares a special bond. While they do not need to be adopted together, we believe Izzy would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to help her continue building confidence and enjoying life to the fullest.
