Izzy's Story

Izzy is a very friendly, smart and loveable girl who just had her 3-year-old birthday. She is spayed. She is up to date on Rabies and all other vaccinations. She has been tested for heartworm annually, (is negative) and on Simparica Tio for HW prevention and flea/tick control. She is in excellent health.

Izzy currently lives with a Golden Retriever and 2 cats and gets along with them all very well. She also lives with a 1-year-old and has developed some unprovoked aggression towards the baby (no bites, just rough play) and this is the reason for her being rehomed by the owners. She is therefore not recommended for families with young children. She is currently on trazadone to help with her interaction with the baby. Izzy has been around older children without incident.

Izzy will benefit with daily exercise and attention. A fenced yard is a plus, but she knows her current boundaries and plays in her yard off leash. She walks well on leash. She loves to play ball and knows a lot of commands!

PLEASE NOTE: While this Lab may not be available for adoption by the time you complete the adoption process, other great Labs are always finding their way into our Rescue.

For more information on this Lab, please contact INFO@BROOKLINELABRESCUE.ORG.

If you are interested in adopting this Lab or any other Lab from our Rescue, please visit our Web site, www.brooklinelabrescue.org, for more information on our adoption process.
