Izzy #10's Story
Izzy #10 is a 4-month-old female chocolate Labrador who is as sweet as she is playful. Like any puppy her age, she’s still learning her manners and discovering the world around her, but she’s eager, happy, and full of love. Izzy came from a breeder who is closing their doors, and she is one of 15 dogs currently in-house who are all waiting for foster homes to open up or homes of their very own. She has been living with a group of dogs and does well with them, enjoying both playtime and companionship.

Because Izzy is still young and learning, she would do best in a home with older children. She can get excited and may jump up with her sharp puppy nails, which could accidentally scratch or knock over a small child—never on purpose, just puppy enthusiasm. Izzy is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family who will guide her, love her, and give her the chance to grow into the wonderful dog she’s meant to be. Could you open your heart and home to give Izzy a place to truly call her own?

For additional information about Izzy #10 please email Ann Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Izzy #10 is being fostered in Connecticut.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full-service website, (https://labs4rescue.com/adopt).
