Ivy's Story
Beautiful Ivy’s owner died, and Ivy’s small canine companion was rehomed. Ivy was traumatized initially by losing her “mom” and her home. It was scary for her to be in a new place, but she adjusted well.

Ivy, a Husky, is very sweet and loves a good butt scratch! She has been good with her male dog roommate, but she would also probably be fine as an only dog. She loves dog toys, but can't play with them now because her canine companion is not good at sharing.

Ivy is mild-mannered and a bit shy at first, but warms up as soon as she learns she is safe and loved.

Like all Huskies, she loves the outdoors and getting plenty of exercise. She needs a fenced yard to be safe and happy. No young children, as she is used to a quiet, adult-only home.

Ivy was born in 2016, and is about 50 pounds and housetrained.

Please complete an adoption application on our website, www.lcrescue.org, and text 219-677-2961 after you have submitted the app. Thank you!
