Itsy's Story

Hi there! It’s me, Itsy!
I wanted to pop onto the Tillamook K9 Rescue page and introduce myself. I was found running near a busy road, and those big cars and trucks zooming past were pretty scary! Thankfully, a kind person called for help, and a very nice deputy brought me to the shelter.
I’ve made some wonderful human friends here, and I’m getting lots of love and care. But I keep hearing them talk about finding me a “good home”—somewhere I’ll be loved and cared for for the rest of my days. Apparently, that comes with a person of my very own. Now THAT sounds pretty special!
I’ll be 10 years old in November, so I’m no spring chicken. But who wants to be a chicken, anyway?! I only weigh 27 pounds, which might explain why they call me Itsy!
A short walk here and there would be lovely, but mostly, I just enjoy being with my person. I don’t need grand adventures—just a cozy place to settle in, gentle company, and someone who’s happy to have me by their side.
Could you be my person? Or do you know someone who might have room in their heart and home for little ol’ me?

Itsy is due to be spayed on Nov. 6th - at that time we will have her teeth checked and schedule any dental work that needs to be done, as well as inserting a microchip. We are also not able to determine what breed she is - she was 27 lbs when she was brought in and is happily putting on weight!
