Here is Isla!

Isla and her sisters, Cordelia and Lana, are about 4-5 months old and they are very special pups. They spent the first 3 months of their lives outside under their owners porch. Luckly, someone called animal control and they were seized. The siblings were taken to an over populated shelter and the shelter called us to help. FHDR transported the pups to NJ to live in foster homes. They are very happy to be in a foster home where they are getting healthy food & treats, soft beds and lots of love. Something they never experienced before. The pups are very shy but so very sweet and they are learning to trust people.

Isla foster mom says….”Isla is gorgeous. She has beautiful haze eyes and a beautiful brown coat. Isla was very shy when she arrived at our house and she has quickly warmed up to us. This puppy loves affection! She will now come over to us and she will give us puppy kisses. Isla spends her days playing with all sorts of toys (ring toys, rope toys, sneaky toys, stuffed toys and kong) and she loves her balls (small, large squishy ones). Isla will toss her toys up in the air and then chases after them. She will also play fetch with her the balls and return them. Isla will follow us around and she likes relaxing on her doggie bed or sitting outside in the sun. She is very silly puppy (with a tail that doesn’t stop wagging) who runs around the house when she has the zoomies and getting into stuff. LOL! Isla rolls over for belly rubs all the time. And, she does this cute thing where she slides from a sit position to a laying position. LOL! Isla sleeps through the night without having accidents and she is house trained. She already know the comands sit, paw, down, come and no. She is food motivated and very obedient for a puppy. Isla is a vocal puppy, she has a little whine that sounds like a bird chirping. She is very cute and the sounds are adorble!!"

Isla needs a home that has the patience to make her feel comfortable and that can spend time teaching her that they are safe. (No children under 10 years old.) are sure if you adopt her, she will be devoted, loving companion. She just need the right person to call their own. Isla is just a Love!

Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ.
