Isla's Story

My name is Isla, and my story began a few years ago when I became a mama dog, bravely digging a cave to keep my precious puppies safe. When a kind samaritan heard tiny cries in the night and discovered two of my babies had tumbled out, she rescued all of us, bringing us into the comfort of a home. Now, at about 4 to 5 years young, this Aussie mix at 53 pounds has learned that life can be full of love, soft beds, and endless belly rubs, and Im ready to find a forever family who cherishes my gentle spirit and my heartfelt affection.

Heres a peek into what makes me, me:
My Sweet Demands: Im a true cuddle champion, a real velcro dog who will gently place my paw on you as a polite request for pets and all the attention you can spare.

Clever Contriver: Im a smart cookie who thrives on companionship; Im still learning the world is safe when Im left completely alone during the day and might try to reunite with you if I feel lonely for too long.

Balanced Bliss: After a good romp in the yard with some exciting zoomies, Im perfectly content to transform into a seasoned couch potato, ready for a long nap beside you.

Im a polite houseguest, fully potty trained, and a joy to walk on a loose leash, taking in all the neighborhood scents at a comfortable pace. My crate is my cozy bedroom at night, where I sleep soundly until morning, dreaming of our next adventure. During the day, I truly blossom with consistent companionship, and my ideal home would be one where Im not left unsupervised for extended periods. I absolutely adore children and welcome their gentle attention, making me a wonderful companion for a family looking for a loving, sensitive girl to complete their pack.

My adoption fee is $400, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip.
