She also has a high prey drive, so a home without small animals is a must.<br/><br/>What Izzy loves is simple: freedom to roam, a comfortable place to relax, and people who understand that not every dog fits neatly into a box. She has her quirks, and we've learned to love every one of them.<br/><br/>Storms can be scary for Izzy, and she'll need a family willing to help her feel safe when the weather turns rough. She isn't looking for a busy household or a picture-perfect lifestyle. She's looking for patience, understanding, and a place where she can simply be herself.<br/><br/>Izzy has been a beloved resident at Noah's Arc, and she will always have a place with us. We are perfectly happy to continue caring for her as a sanctuary resident for as long as she needs. However, we also know that sometimes the perfect person comes along someone who sees a dog like Izzy and understands exactly what she needs.<br/><br/>Maybe that's someone with a quiet property. Maybe it's someone who believes that every dog deserves a home, even if they're a little unconventional.<br/><br/>Izzy may not be the right fit for every family, but for the right person, she could be exactly the companion they've been looking for.<br/><br/>Could you be Izzy's person? <br/><br/>Noah's Arc Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal rescue serving East Tennessee since 1991. We are committed to rescuing homeless dogs and cats, providing the medical care they need, and helping them find loving, lifelong homes. Our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, current on flea/tick prevention, dewormed, and examined by a veterinarian. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested when age appropriate.
