Hi hi hiiii, I’m Isaac, your future best friend and professional heart thief 💙<br/><br/>I’m a three-month-old Rottweiler puppy, which basically means I’m built like a tiny tank but powered by zoomies, snacks, and snuggles 🥰 I’m equal parts spunky, sweet, and snuggly, with just enough goofy charm to keep you laughing every single day ☺️ All my siblings have already been adopted, lucky ducks 🦆, but my rescue wanted to make sure I had my big checkup at OSU first so we could understand exactly what I need to grow big and strong 💪 Turns out I’m just a little extra special. I have some musculoskeletal quirks, but nothing slows me down. I wake up every day with a wagging tail and a let’s do this attitude ☺️<br/><br/>The really important thing to know is that my life expectancy is expected to be the same as other Rottweilers, and this is not anticipated to be costly for my adopter. I just need a family who understands my lifestyle and helps me grow the smart way ❤️<br/><br/>In my foster home, I absolutely adore my foster sister Bella 💕 I follow her everywhere like her slightly smaller, slightly more dramatic shadow. She shows me how to be brave, and I show her how to make every activity more fun. I’ve learned stairs, yard zoomies, and how to tackle new things head on. Watching me try something new is basically a motivational speech in puppy form 🥹<br/><br/>Now let’s talk about my lifestyle because I am what you might call a low impact athlete. I should avoid high jumping, roughhousing, and launching myself off furniture like a furry superhero. Instead, I’m into short, leash controlled walks and controlled adventures ⚠️ Think casual strolls, not extreme sports 🏀 I rock a chest harness for walks because it keeps pressure off my neck and helps protect my growing body and brain 🧠 As I grow, my family will need to watch for things like wobbliness, weakness, or any changes in how I move. If I ever seem uncomfortable or have trouble walking, I’ll need a vet to check me right away. I may benefit from physical rehabilitation with a certified canine rehab practitioner to help strengthen my muscles and improve mobility. Think of it as puppy personal training. No chiropractic work for me though, my team says that is a no go 🙅<br/><br/>Food wise, I’ll be on a good quality commercial diet that is not too high in protein. We want steady, healthy growth, not giant overnight Rottie growth. Slow and steady wins the race 🏁 especially for a handsome guy with some musculoskeletal quirks. And speaking of growing up, my neuter will wait until after I turn two years old. That gives my bones and joints time to fully mature 🦴 My hormones have an important job right now, building this sturdy frame 🖼️<br/><br/>Here is the most important part. I am resilient, brave, and full of life ❤️ I try everything at least once. Every small victory feels huge 🤗 I don’t see obstacles, I see opportunities for extra praise and maybe a treat. I love attention, pets, and praise, and when playtime is over, I happily melt into your lap like I was always meant to be there 🫠<br/><br/>If you are looking for a loyal, loving, slightly goofy, incredibly determined best friend who will face the world by your side, I’m your guy. I may be the last of my litter still waiting, but that just means I have been saving all this love just for you 💙
