Iris is a beautiful, petite 2–3-year-old sweetheart who has overcome a rough start to life with incredible grace. She arrived at the rescue very pregnant, and on her second day with us, she gave birth to her puppies. Now that her little family is ready for their forever homes, Iris is finally ready for hers too. Despite everything she’s been through, Iris is a lover through and through. She’s playful, affectionate, and always eager to give gentle kisses. She adores her people and dreams of a cozy home where she can snuggle up on the couch and soak in all the affection she’s been waiting so long to receive. This girl also has her preferences—Iris will need a home without cats, as she’s not a match for feline friends. And now that she’s almost fully healed from giving birth, her spay will be scheduled soon so she can begin her new life healthy and secure. Our adoption process begins with an application. If the application looks to fit the needs of the pet they are applying for, we begin by contacting the applicant to discuss. If this step leads up closer to feeling the fit is the right one for both the pet and family applying, we will then complete the veterinarian check, and contact references prior to setting up a meet and greet. We are dedicated to matching pets with their perfect fit, and vice versa!
