Iris's Story
THIS IS A COURESY POST. FOR AN APPLICATION GO TO www.petsintransition.org

Meet Delilah and Iris, a loving mother-daughter duo in search of a forever home together. Their previous owner, a kind-hearted young woman facing homelessness, made the difficult decision to surrender them so they could have a stable and secure future.

These sweet girls are believed to be a Sheltie mix, possibly with some Golden Retriever. They are incredibly well-mannered—housebroken, quiet, and excellent on a leash. Whether riding in the car or relaxing at home, they are perfect companions. While we suspect they would adore children, we haven't had the chance to confirm.

Both Delilah and Iris have been spayed, fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, and are up to date on preventive care. Delilah is approximately 4 years old and weighs 23 pounds, while her daughter Iris is around 3 years old and weighs 32 pounds. As a foster, I can confidently say these two are among the best-behaved dogs I’ve ever cared for.

If you’re interested in giving them a loving home, please visit www.petsintransition.org and complete the Adoption Application. There is a significantly reduced adoption fee for the pair. Please share and help these wonderful dogs find their perfect home!
