Iris is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom.<br/>If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found.<br/><br/>-Iris is a female, possibly Beagle/Dachshund mix and is 6-7 months old (January 8th)<br/>-weighs around 35 pounds on January 8th<br/>-Surrendered due to owner living in an apartment and she wasn’t getting enough exercise/too much energy<br/>-Walks on a leash<br/>-Crate trained<br/>-Does well with other dogs<br/>-Previous owner said she likes children<br/>-Is not housebroken, owner was working on it when they surrendered her<br/>-Loves carrots and celery<br/>-Loves stuffed toys<br/>-Plays fetch, loves to run and be outside<br/><br/>-Video of Iris from January 7: https://youtube.com/shorts/GIUWBpLVamI?si=hzGtoKJjSluKEp8Q<br/><br/>Prior to adoption, Iris will be spayed, vaccinated (DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies), dewormed, microchipped, and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. She was tested for heartworm and was negative on January 6th.
