Irina (Russian litter)'s Story

FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State - we are a local foster based rescue and no transport from another state required. :) Thanks!

---

Meet the Russian Litter! Yup, pretty obvious what breed they are... Husky!! These sweet babies are 49% Husky and then a smidge of this, a smatter of that! They are beyond beautiful, super social, smart and of course a touch sass.

All the puppies in this litter are silly and playful. They are doing wonderful in their crates - sleeping in there at night and housebreaking is going well. Once out of the crates - it's a fun 'let's go!!' attitude. We think a home with a large fenced yard, Husky (or similar breed) experience, time of training and fun adventures. These pups have met kids and other dogs - Irina and her sister have also met a horse with good greets - again, very social.

This puppy is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated with DHPP. They will just need their rabies vaccine. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, they will need lots of training, including housebreaking. Remember, puppies are cute, but they have sharp teeth, need to be fed 3 times a day and poop... a lot!

The 3-3-3 rule is a guideline for transitioning a rescue dog into its new home and helping it to settle in. It suggests that the first three days should be used for adjusting to its new surroundings, the next three weeks for training and bonding, and the first three months for continued socialization and training.

Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption.

Adoptions typically take place in Marysville.
Adoption fee is $525. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible.

Save-A-Mutt is a foster based rescue, we do not have a facility to visit. Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sunday’s to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make exceptions only with the approval of the foster home.

Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your puppy.
