IRENE

Meet Irene -

Irene’s story is one of simple misunderstanding—one that speaks more about her joyful spirit than anything else. She wandered onto a farm and, with all the innocence in the world, tried to engage the chickens and horses in play. From a distance, and without knowing her, it was mistaken as aggression. But the truth is much gentler: there was no attack, no injury—just a friendly, social dog trying to make new friends in the only way she knew how.

Irene is, above all, a sweetheart. Among all the loving dogs in our care, she truly stands out as a queen of kindness. She adores people and lights up when she’s given attention, whether that’s a quiet visit at her kennel or time to stretch her legs in the play yard. She soaks up affection and companionship like she’s been waiting for it her whole life.

This girl isn’t looking for trouble—she’s looking for connection. Irene would thrive in a home that understands her gentle, social nature and gives her the chance to be part of the family she’s always been trying to find.
