Ion

Ion is a 9-year-old mix. He has never known a really home and yard. He has traveled from Illinois to Wyoming with his owner and his dog brother Bear on foot. He has stayed on the street, in random homes with friends along the way, homeless shelters and cars. Due to some circumstances with is owner he and Bear are looking for a new forever home with a bed, family, yard and meals every night. We are told he is ok with most other dogs but will set boundaries, good with kids and selective with cats. He is very housetrained. He knows basic commands and sign language! Great on a leash! Ion also was born with a birth defect called Persistent Right Aortic Arch PRAA. He needs fed slow small amounts of food multiple times a day. He is doing well at the shelter and gaining weight.
