Ingrid's Story

Ingrid is an 11 yr old who came into rescue when she ended up in the shelter because her owner had a life changing medical event. She is with an amazing foster but would love a retirement home of her own. She's a little anxious and confused. Ingrid gets around ok but has arthritis as would be expected. She's not demanding but would love affection from time to time. She is co-existing with other dogs and we don't know what her opinion on cats is. She'd probably love to be an only furfriend. Can you give Ingrid a comfy place to retire?

Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

All MLGSDR rescues are given a thorough check-up by our vet, including heartworm and parasite testing, spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and given age-appropriate vaccinations. They are then placed in foster care for at least (3) weeks, taught basic obedience and manners and socialized before they are available for adoption. All adopters are required to complete a basic obedience class with their new dog as stated in the adoption contract.
