Indy's Story
For return calls on Indy, please submit an application. It is much more productive to speak with you when we have an idea about your living situation. Due to limited resources and time, we will not be answering questions or returning calls until we have an approved application. That is the first step in our adoption process.

Her adoption fee is $300
Applications can be found on our website:
https://www.jessaminehumanesociety.org

Just as we say for all adoptions, be sure to do your research on the breed before applying to adopt. This is an extra large breed. This breed needs an alpha owner, lots of socialization and exercise. Indy MUST go to a home with a fully fenced yard to provide safety and proper exercise time.

Indy is a beautiful female Cane Corso, just over 1 year old, and weighing around 100 pounds. She has been in the same loving home since she was born and has been very well cared for. For over 6 months, Indy has been patiently searching for the perfect forever home after her current family realized they no longer have the space needed for another large dog.

Indy is sweet, playful, calm, and delightfully goofy. She truly enjoys attention from her people and has done great in a home with older children. She has also had positive experiences meeting new adults. Indy spends much of her day outside in a fenced area but does well indoors too. She is crate trained at night, fully potty trained, and continues to make progress with leash walking.

Indy is not suited for a home with cats or small dogs, as she may chase them if given the opportunity. She would likely do best as the only dog or in a home without other large female dogs. With the right match, Indy will be a loyal, loving, and devoted companion.

Indy is spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed. If you think Indy might be the one you’ve been waiting for, please visit our website to submit an application.

www.jessaminehumanesociety.org
