I am a little shy and very quiet, but every day I gain more confidence. I find it very comforting to be with my humans. As a matter of fact, I enjoy being held so much that I'll stand up and reach my paws up to let you know I want to be picked up. I do it to get some affection, but it also seems to make my people smile, and that makes me happy, too.

I am learning some very important things in my foster home. I'm both house trained and crate trained, and I walk very nicely on my leash. I am also experiencing some things that frighten me, such as loud noises and unexpected movements. However, I'm making lots of progress getting used to new things.

Sometimes my foster parents take me for a ride in the car. I am a very good girl in the car. I ride very nicely when tethered in the back seat. It's so exciting to see all the sights and smell all the wonderful scents. I've decided that riding is fun!

When we're hanging out at home, one of my favorite activities is being outside in the fenced yard. I like the fresh air and sunshine. Of course, being a laid-back beagle, my other favorite activity is chilling in the house and snoozing while my humans watch television. This is a great opportunity to snuggle and get lots of love.

There is something else I really, really love, and that is belly rubs! Oh, they are the absolute BEST! I am hoping to find a forever family that loves to snuggle and give belly rubs. That would be a dream come true.

If you are looking for a laid-back, sweet love bug of a beagle to join your family, look no further, because I'm right here waiting for you.

------

B.O.N.E.S. is a foster-home-based rescue organization serving dogs and potential adopters in the New England states.
