MEET INDIE! 🥹🐾🤍<br/><br/>Indie was found as a stray and brought into the Imperial County Animal Control Center. She was terrified and so shut down 😔❤️‍🩹 she was saved with an incredible foster, able to decompress and learn what it's like to loved. It's been a beautiful thing to see her find joy. The adoption process is considered a very personal experience at The McDonough Rescue. Besides a thorough adoption application, we believe a phone call, home check and overall personal relationship with potential adopters is so important. We know that adopting a new family member can be overwhelming, so hand holding and talking through the process with potential adopters is a crucial step. We believe that this allows both the new pet and new family to all feel supported.
