Ike's Story

Ike is still awaiting his forever home. He entered our shelter 11/8/2024. If you haven't met Ike, the best way I can describe him is "intense." 🤣 He didn't seem to be this way when he first arrived here, or at least not as bad, so we are hoping that when he gets out of the shelter environment and gets his RDA of exercise, he'll be less "intense."<br/><br/>He's a great dog, and we just love him...he just needs an outlet for his energy, and some guidance/focus. We recently sent him to a one month board & train, and he truly did learn so much! <br/><br/>He LOVES it outside and we have a hard time getting him to come in. Ike needs an active home and/or farm. He might be OK with another dog that could match his energy.Cats he really doesn't seem to do too bad with but again he would be very rough. We are also recommending no young kids for the same reason. He's got a lot of energy but he sure is gorgeous!
