Iggy's Story

Ignacio (Iggy) is a stunning blue-eyed Alaskan Malamute mix that joins our rescue from Pinal County Animal Care & Control. Found as a stray, Iggy went into the shelter a shy and timid boy. Over time he let his walls down and shined as an amazing, playful pup.

Iggy can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with time he builds his trust to show his amazing personality. He's sweet, gentle, goofy and playful. Iggy learned to love affection at his time at PCACC - especially belly rubs.

Iggy walks well on leash and knows basic commands. He is dog-friendly with proper introductions and loves to play chase with his doggy friends.

Iggy would do best in a home that can provide comfort and be patient as he decompresses. His independent nature needs time to build trust with his person, then he will turn into your best friend for life. Have a pup in the home already? Iggy would do well with a playmate that enjoys playful, puppy play styles.
