Icy Pop's Story

Location: Maple Lake, MN

Icy Pop (answers to Bella) is a typical fun, loving, energetic girl! She would be perfect for someone wanting a younger dog to grow with and be their life-long friend. You will NOT miss out on cuddles and face kisses.

Shy at first, she ended up loving our three other dogs. They wrestle and run each other out in the backyard! When not playing with her foster siblings, Icy Pop likes to chew on her toys and stuffed animals or take a relaxing nap by you. She is treat-motivated and knows how to sit!

Icy Pop seems to be well potty-trained, and she is good in her kennel up to six hours from what we have learned. She sleeps in our bedroom through out the night, usually under the bed! The ideal home would be someone that can give her that outlet to get her energy out 5-6 days a week (long walks, play ball, have a friend to chase in the backyard) as she is still a puppy. Also, someone that would keep up with her easy training (we've been working on no jumping on humans or counters).

If adopter(s) were to have a regular Monday-Friday schedule, then I think it would benefit Icy Pop to have someone check in on her in the middle of the of day and walk her or let run around until she is out of her puppy stage.

Unsure of how she does with children, I think she wouldn't do best with younger ones as we are still learning our manners :) Overall, she is a great dog and ready to find her forever home!

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
