What is Warrick Humane Society’s adoption process?

The Warrick Humane Society is a no-kill organization. Once an animal is rescued by WHS, it is saved for life. We will not release an animal to another organization that has a policy of euthanasia. In addition, we will only place animals with qualified prospective owners. We do not adopt out dogs or cats that will be kept outside. We only want loving indoor homes for our pets.  We do thorough checks on all of our potential adopters before sending them to their fur-ever home. We also require that if you adopt a pet from us and are no longer able to keep it that it be returned to us, so that we can find it a new home.

Is Ice good with kids?

Is Ice good with other animals?

Ice is good with other dogs. It is not known if Ice is good with cats.

When can I meet Ice?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
