MEET TEDDY — 7 MONTHS OLD, 12 LBS & PURE LOVE <br/>Teddy is a 7-month-old little boy, born January 11, 2026, and currently weighs about 12 lbs. He was surrendered by a breeder after he was not sold as a younger puppy. He has a pedigree. <br/>When Teddy first came to us, he was scared and unsure of everything. There is not one mean bone in this little guys body — he simply needed time to realize he was finally safe.<br/>And then... Teddy discovered FREEDOM! <br/>After just a few days, he started coming out of his shell, especially when he was around other dogs. He LOVES dogs. Pure and simple. He is currently fostered with another little dog, and the two of them play nonstop.<br/>Teddy spent too much of his young life in a crate, so no more crate for this boy. He is enjoying being free, playing, exploring and finally getting to be a puppy.<br/>And when playtime is over?<br/>Get ready for a snuggle bug! Teddy loves being close to his person and will happily sleep in bed right next to your pillow. If you don't like a dog sleeping with you, that's perfectly okay — but Teddy probably isn't the doggie for you! <br/>He eats great, walks nicely, LOVES the dog park, and is just an incredibly sweet little guy.<br/>Because Teddy is so happy around other dogs, we feel he would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog.<br/>He is simply a GEM. Pure LOVE wrapped up in a little 12-pound package. <br/>Our primary focus is always finding the right home for each individual dog. Adoption isn't simply about finding a dog that someone wants — it is about finding the family and environment where that particular dog will be happy and successful for the rest of his life.<br/>PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt to families with young children. If you are 65 or older, please consider one of our wonderful more mature dogs who may be a better match. We generally do not adopt out of state; exceptional applications with an excellent, verifiable veterinary history may be considered.<br/>Teddy has already spent enough time behind bars.<br/>Now it's his turn to play, snuggle, sleep by someone's pillow and simply be loved.<br/><br/>Teddy's adoption fee is $1,200.<br/>His adoption fee includes all of his vaccinations, neuter and microchip.<br/>We also want people to understand something very important about rescue. Not every dog who comes through our doors is young, healthy and easy to place. We take in senior dogs, injured dogs and dogs requiring extensive veterinary care — sometimes costing thousands of dollars.<br/>Our more adoptable little dogs like Teddy help us provide medical care for the less fortunate dogs who desperately need us. When you adopt Teddy, your adoption fee doesn't only help Teddy — it helps another dog too.
