Hux

Hux is one very special little guy! He is 7 pounds and about a year old. Someone did a good job with him in his formative months. He still has some learning to do and some valid puppying to do, but he is a charmer.<br/><br/>He absolutely must have a dog(s) in his new home, who wants to play with him as much as he wants to play with them. He is so excited about every dog we come across. In the instances where hes gotten some good play in, he looks longingly after them as they walk away and whines a little bit. On our walks he has even gone back to places where we met dogs on previous days to look for them. <br/><br/>He is good on a leash. He is pretty well house-trained. He needs a regular schedule to keep his record at 100%. He does well in an x-pen for short periods of time. Hes not sold on the kennel, but he does walk in to look for treats regularly and lays down sometimes.<br/><br/>He loves toys. He loves to race after a ball thrown down the hall. He will also play by himself, batting the ball around and jumping after it.<br/><br/>This sweet, devoted caramel & cream cutie will be so excited to start a new life with the perfect people!<br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog.
