He’s a 2-year-old, 19-lb poodle who’s settling in beautifully in his foster home. He loves following the dog around, and it’s been sweet watching him learn from his new “mentor.” Everything is still very new to him, but he’s been enjoying exploring the backyard and taking in the world at his own pace.<br/><br/>Hunter is currently in a foster home and has come such a long way! He’s now fully housebroken, does his business during walks or in the backyard, and has grown so much more confident on walks—sniffing and exploring the world around him. <br/><br/>He eats very well, has gained a little weight, and gets along great with our dog. He’s also calm when he sees other dogs—no barking or aggression. <br/><br/>Best of all, Hunter has learned to trust. He now happily rolls over for belly rubs and has been breaking out into zoomies more often because he just can’t contain his excitement during playtime. <br/><br/>Hunter is such a loving, sweet boy and would make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. <br/><br/>Shy dog classes will help him with his transition. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN.
