Hi there! My name is Hunter. I am a handsome brindle colored Shepherd/Plott Hound mix who is available for adoption through Pets and Vets USA. My previous owners surrendered me due to a marriage problem. I am quiet, housebroken, good with kids and other dogs. I would prefer a home with a 6 foot tall fence, but would do well in a condo or townhome if walked regularly. I am good with kids, but think older kids in my forever home would be best given my size. I know the following commands: Come, Sit, Down, Watch, Leave it and Paw. I am treat motivated so I learn new commands quickly with the promise of a snack. My favorite activities include romping around a fenced yard, going for long walks, looking out the window, playing with my favorite toys and spending time with my special people. ADOPTION PROCESS AND POLOCIES: The first step in adoption process is to fill out an application and arrange a meet and greet with the adoptable to see if it is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. If a perfect match is found we will then do a background check and a home visit will be performed. An adoption contract will need to be signed, along with an adoption fee.
