He needs someone who will commit the time and effort to help Hunter become the best dog he can be! He can be wary of strangers but warms up pretty quickly. When he gets over that wariness (treats are a great ice breaker), here comes the excitement! When that happens, he tends to jump up on his new friend. Since he’s not the smallest pup in the world, it can be a surprise for the person getting the attention, of course! He doesn’t mean to scare anyone, though. He just really wants to say “Hiiiii!”. <br/><br/>Hunter might have his fair share of quirks but let us tell you… he also has his share of amazing qualities! He’s incredibly smart and absolutely loves to learn. He already knows sit, heel, down, play, stay, over, place, take it, leave it and drop it. Talk about impressive! He’s house trained and walks well on leash. Hunter’s ideal match is someone with experience who lives in a detached home with another fun dog. Hunter hasn't been tested with cats but we feel that he could possibly live with a dog savvy feline friend.
