Hunter's Story

At one-year-old, Hunter is a truly awesome guy! Our best guesses at his breed are Irish Wolfhound? Great Dane mix? Wire-Haired Mini Horse? Whatever he is, he is a big and very strong guy. He was fostered in a family with another large dog, and a 5-year-old child and he was reported to be amazing with both.

He loves to lounge, but also likes to play fetch and do extra-large sized zoomies here and there. Hunter will chase cats and other small animals.

He is still a puppy at heart, so he loves to rip up toys or bring you stray shoes when he wants to play. Ready to take a chance on a goofy, giant whatever-he-is? Apply today!

We do NOT respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.

We never know how quickly a pet will be adopted.
