Humphrey's Story
Meet Humphrey!
Humphrey was brought into the shelter as a stray and was never claimed. When he came in, he was flea infested and terrified.
One of our regular volunteers felt called to foster him and he is really starting to blossom!
Here's what she had to say about him:
When I first met Humphrey, he was shivering in fear at the shelter. When we first got him to our house, he still wasn't sure who he could trust and he ran away. After a little bit of panic, he ended up coming back on his own. He is not a fan of small kids and would do better in a house with older kids. He does do well with his human foster siblings (ages 9 and up). He is curious but friendly with the cat and he does well with our dogs now. At first he was terrified of the dogs, but now he plays just fine! He has learned his name and how to come when called but he is still working on sitting for a treat and leash walking. He has been a stray his entire life so we are the first home he has ever been in. He is going to be very attached to his person.
He is such a silly pup and we are happy to support him while he finds his forever family!
