Hula

Hula was found wandering in a field in a rural town we help. She was taken to the shelter and we rescued her from euthanasia due to overcrowding. We were able to save her because a selfless foster brought Hula into her home. She has been very sweet since she came into our care, and we know she’ll make someone very happy. Hula has completed her veterinary care, so she’s ready to find a forever person. <br/><br/>Hula is a very cuddly girl, and she loves pets. She is in a foster home with other dogs of various sizes, and she does great with all of them. She has been sweet and gentle with children as young as 6. She does like to play, but she isn’t high energy. Hula is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. <br/><br/>Hula is 1 year old and weighs 32 pounds. We think she’s a Boxer and Beagle mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.<br/><br/>Hula can arrive in Poughkeepsie, New York on 3/28.
