Hula's Story

Hula is a petite (5.5lbs) 4 month old Chihuahua/Min Pin mix. While she may be small in stature, she has a BIG personality! Hula is a talker (perhaps screamer is a better description) when she is surprised, excited, or just wants to remind you she's here.

Hula was born with skeletal abnormalities in her hind legs which effect her gait. On x-ray, it appears her knee caps did not develop and there may be some muscles that did not fully develop. While this does mean she walks a little differently and can't take stairs, Hula is still a busy, inquisitive puppy. She loves to play, explore, and snuggle. She will do best in a home without small children or large dogs.

If you think you might be a good match for Hula, please complete our application at www.stlsdp.org
