Hugo in Colorado

Meet Hugo, a sweet, gentle senior fella who is ready to find his perfect retirement home. This loyal companion thrives on routine, adores his people, and would be the ideal match for someone who works from home or is retired and is around a lot.
While Hugo can be a little nervous in new environments, a patient adopter who offers love, safety, and a predictable schedule will quickly watch him blossom into a deeply connected best friend. He is fully potty-trained, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and has been an absolute dream in his foster home.
Because he is a distinguished senior statesman, Hugo has a few endearing quirks and special care needs that are easy to manage. He is a total treat connoisseur, but because he is missing a few teeth, he needs his snacks to be nice and soft. He also has a plate and screws in his right shoulder from a past injury along with arthritis, so he occasionally walks with a slight limp. Finally, with a touch of senior vision impairment and typical elderly confusion, he requires a little extra guidance and supervision around stairs and curbs to keep him safe from stumbles. If you have room in your heart for a gentle soul who loves slow, sniffing adventures on easy walks and soft, quiet cuddles, Hugo is waiting to meet you.

Hugo is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, had a recent dental surgery, and is up to date on all of his veterinary care. Now all he needs is a loving forever family of his own. If you are interested, please fill out our online adoption survey here: https://www.olddogsnewdigs.com/adoption-survey/
Add a comment...
