I like to use my voice when I am excited<br/>- I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter!<br/><br/>Hi there, I’m Hugh! <br/><br/>I’m a 2-year-old pit bull mix with a big heart, a fun-loving spirit, and a serious passion for learning. I’m proud to say I’m already a Waifs with Wisdom graduate, which means I have my basic commands down pat. But I didn't stop there! I’m currently enrolled in LIFT University working on my low-impulse control and navigating some fear tendencies. I'm a super smart guy and wildly food-motivated, so I pick up on new routines and commands in a flash, especially when tasty treats are involved.<br/><br/>Between my brain and my energy, keeping entertained is key for me. I love enrichment puzzles that challenge my mind, and when it comes to toys, I love all of them: squeaky ones, fetch toys, tug ropes, you name it! Food and toys are definitely the fastest ways to my heart, right alongside spending quality time bonding with my favorite humans.<br/><br/>Because I’m such a vibrant, active guy, I’m looking for an active adopter who can keep up with my fun energy. A home with a fenced-in yard is a must for me so I have a safe, secure spot to zoom around and release my energy, which means apartment living isn't the right fit. If you have other dogs at home, I’ll just need to meet them first to make sure we’re a great match.
