Hugger's Story
Hugger is a young dog at 2 years old and 41 lbs. He is a ball of energy, and he is ready to play especially if you have water at your disposal! In our yards, if there is a pool available, he will find his way to it, no questions asked, bringing toys right in there with him. This sweet boy also loves people and lives up to his name when it comes to his love for affection.

Hugger, as loving as he is, can be a bit overwhelming for other dogs depending on who he is playing with. Due to this, he would love to meet any possible canine companions before heading home to make sure they fit well! He would also do best in a home without cats or smaller animals, and toddlers or small children may be overwhelmed by his energy.

He has been on quite a few hikes with our volunteers as well as other dogs alongside him, and he loves wandering the trails in the great outdoors! He has overall been described as a hiking buddy who could go on for miles if you are down for the adventure.

If you would like to learn more about Hugger, then stop by our adoption center to speak with a counselor today!
