Huey's Story

Hi! My name is Huey, except when I'm in trouble (which never happens!)then it's "Hubert Duck!" I'm a 4 year old Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund mix and weigh about 26 pounds. I am a little shy when I first meet new people but when I get to know you, we will be best friends! I'm the best boy! I like hanging out on the couch with my person and getting back scratches. I have studied the 'Junior Woodchuck Guidebook' and have learned basic obedience from "sit" and "down" to leash manners. I LOVE the outdoors and I'm always ready to go on adventures! I've been "camping"(living)with my foster family for a while now and I sleep all night in my "pup tent" (crate). I go to the door to be let outside to potty. I like other dogs if they are not scary. I'm looking for my feath-ever home. From a houseboat to McDuck Manor, any place will make me happy if you can be patient and give me time to trust you.
