Hudson's Story
Hudson, the Doberman mix, is a whirlwind of energy packed into a sleek, slightly goofy package. One ear stands tall and alert, while the other flopped endearingly, a testament to his mixed heritage and endless charm. He spent his days in a frenzy of activity. despite his boundless energy, Hudson has a soft spot for cuddles and would happily collapse into a heap of warm fur and happy sighs after a long play session.

When taken on a field trip we were told:

" Hudson is amazing! We took him on a fieldtrip today and it was really hard to take him back!

He is the sweetest dude! He melts into your lap and cuddles. He has the goofiest ears! I'm pretty sure he is doberman mixed with a baby deer, because those long, lanky limbs are just too much! He folds like a pretzel! He is about 5 months old and already so tall!

He did great with the cat. He approached her slowly and carefully, sniffed her, and walked away. He paid no attention to a caged rodent. He did well with our husky. There was a little orneryness when they first met and while he was eating, but he settled quickly and easily.

He LOVED hanging out in our shop and stayed close by while exploring the property.

He doesn't jump into the car on his own but doesn't ming being picked up and put inside. He got car sick once when I first picked him up, but spent a lot of time in the car to go Christmas tree hunting and did amazing.

He did really well with strangers at Petco and the Christmas tree farm. He walks really nicely on a leash.

He did mostly well with my 8 year old. The only problem was a couple times at the tree farm, my son ran off and had to be called back. When he ran back, Hudson barked at him. He was pretty easily corrected and calmed down.

The chainsaw also startled him a bit but he didn't react other than to cling closer to me.

Overall, he is a pretty fantastic pup who is going to make the best buddy for a very lucky person/family!

Someone needs to RUN to Pawsitively Saved Rescue to adopt him! You won't regret it!"
