Hudson's Story
Meet Hudson (Huddy)

Hudson, affectionately known as Huddy, is a sweet, loving boy with great manners and a big heart. He also knows he's done something wrong when he hears his full name, Hudson Lee!

Hudson is very well-trained and knows the commands:

Sit
Stay
Wait
Leave it
Here (come or heel)
Out (drop it)
Shake (left paw)
Paw (right paw)
Down (lay down)
Off
Kennel
Home
Load up
He has excellent impulse control and will:

Sit and wait for the yes command before eating.
Sit and wait at the door until given the yes command to go outside.
Feeding Schedule:

Eats between 4:004:30 PM each day.
Gets 2 cups total per day of Pure Balance Lamb & Fava Bean food.
Important: Hudson is allergic to chicken and absolutely cannot have any food containing chicken or chicken meal.

Personality:
Hudson absolutely loves belly rubs and any kind of affection. He enjoys being close to his people and soaking up attention whenever he can. He is a toy fanatic! Loves tennis balls or squeaky balls the most, he doesn't know when to stop when playing with toys, so you do have to tell him Hudson enough and take the toy after about 30 minutes in the heat. He is great with bedding doesn't shred eat or chew on anything. He loves the shallow creek and loves car rides; he will sit in the front or back and just lay down but likes to also stick head out the window.

Kennel:
His kennel is his safe place. He often chooses to lay in it on his own and prefers the door left open when possible. When left home alone, he is typically kenneled with the door locked because he will get in the trash when fully alone (knows how to get into a trash can lid)

Anxieties & Fears:

Hudson has severe fireworks anxiety and can become extremely distressed. If locked in his kennel during fireworks, he will break out, even if that means to break the kennel to do so.
He is also scared of thunderstorms, though his reaction is usually milder and consists mostly of shaking.
Hudson is a wonderful, affectionate dog who thrives on love, routine, and reassurance. He will make someone very lucky to have such a sweet and well-mannered companion.

Hudson is not comfortable around children and will chase/kill cats. He does well with dogs in introduced appropriately, so meet and greets are required.

application can be submitted at

https://www.woodstockanimalfoundation.org/adopt-a-dog/
