Hudson Labrador Retriever & Black Labrador Retriever Mix Middletown, RI

Hudson is friendly, energetic pup. He loves toys and he plays very well with my other dogs. He's young so he plays a little rough at times but, the older dogs providing him with necessary guidance.

Hudson is learning to walk on leash and go into his kennel. He is kenneled at night and does well. Hudson is partially potty trained. He has an occasional accident so he will need to go out frequently until he understands. He is able to go all night without accidents in his kennel.
Hudson has learned to sit for a treat and will take the treat gently. Hudson rides well in the car. Hudson will duck his head and "smile" sometimes when spoken to.

Hudson is around 6 months old and weighs around 44 pounds.Hudson does love to chew so he must be supervised; if he is left unattended, furniture and shoes are at risk. He can be redirected with a toy.

Hudson does not like cats and will chase them, given the opportunity.

I think Hudson would do well with a young family with children. When he wandered up to a neighboring home as a stray, the homeowner's young grandchildren (elementary age) played with him and he did well with them. He's probably a little too rowdy for a child younger than that.
