Note From the Foster:
Hudson is a sweet boy. He loves to snuggle on the couch with you or play ball. He loves playing with our dogs and has been introduced to other dogs that he did well with. He would benefit from continued training and another dog to play with and socialize with. He does listen fairly well to basic commands. He has done well with our dogs, kids, and cats. Cats he is pretty curious about. He can be jumpy on our 3-year-old child but not the older kids. He accepts social cues from our older dogs fairly well. He walks fairly well on a leash and enjoys being outside.
He was adopted as a young puppy and returned to us as his family could no longer keep him. We have noticed he is a little apprehensive of new people at our home. Men more than women but after a little time he warms up. We do not push him to greet anyone and request new people in our home to just ignore him until he is ready. This has been working well and the more people he meets the better it gets.
If you would like to foster him to see if he is a good fit before adoption please request a foster application.
