We pulled his mama, Hazel, from the shelter on the literal day of her spay-abort surgery when she was full-term pregnant. Just one week later, on the 4th of July, Huck and his 11 brothers and sisters were safely born into rescue!<br/><br/>Having grown up at our facility, Huckleberry has been wonderfully socialized with both people and other dogs from day one.<br/><br/>Among his 12 siblings, Huckleberry has officially earned the title of laziest of the bunch. He’ll get one hilarious zoomie burst where he acts like a complete maniac, and then immediately powers down into a total lazy lump. His siblings will literally run laps and laps around him while he lies there without a care in the world. If you’re looking for an easygoing, cuddly firecracker pup who prefers naps over high drama, Huckleberry is ready for his forever home!
