Huckleberry's Story
Meet Huckleberry, an absolutely adorable six-month-old, 35 lb. beagle/yellow lab mix. His last family didn't quite realize how much work a puppy would be so after five months of being in their home, they surrendered him to Happily Furever After Rescue. Eager for a second chance, Huckleberry is now in Connecticut in foster ready to start his next chapter!

This sweet little guy is full of energy - he loves toys, running around the yard, and lounging in the sun. He's always up for an adventure and will be by your side every step, hop, or jump of the way. When he's not having fun outside, he will happily settle with you on the couch for cuddles. Huckleberry really enjoys the company of other dogs, however he is very playful and would do best with a pup of the same level of spunk. He is good with children 6+ but they should be dog savvy as he can play rough.

Being so young, Huckleberry needs an adopter willing to continue puppy training with him so he can show you what a good boy he is. In his last home, he was trained on an invisible fence system and did great! You MUST have a fenced yard to be considered for his adoption. No apartments or condos. In addition to knowing "sit," he is also housetrained. He's a great pup and cannot wait to meet you!

His adoption fee is $400 and Huckleberry is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
