Huck

Meet Huck!

This 40-pound pointer mix is two years old and has a dazzling smile that nobody can deny!

This impressive pup already knows how to sit and give his paw, and is no doubt capable of learning more. He enjoys a nice face rub and is a fan of all sorts of toys and treats, which he takes gently. Huck is a great balance of cuddly and curious!

Huck went on an outing with one of our awesome volunteers and he's quite the explorer. They hit the trail and he followed his nose, enjoying all the new smells along the way. He rides well in the car and walks good on his leash too. Next stop was the Metamora Farmers Market where he experienced all sorts of new things. He even hung out with some new friends along the way and was very well-behaved for some young kids that came up to meet him.

As he is still a young man, Huck will benefit from daily exercise, continued training and a yard to enjoy in his new home. He enjoys the company of his fellow kennel mates and could make an excellent pal for your family fur baby. He is eager to please and will make the best bud around!

Based on our evaluation, we feel Huck would best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages eight and up. He may have the potential to live in a home with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby.

Think he could be the guy for you?
