However<br/><br/>Joined rescue july 2026<br/><br/>Please join us in welcoming HOWLBERT into our rescue who is thanking his lucky stars to simply be alive today!! He walked into our vets office yesterday by his former owner to be euthanized for having anxiety!! WHAT IN THE ACTUAL (insert vulgar cuss word)?! Thankfully Dr J and staff convinced them to surrender him over to them knowing he didnt deserve a death sentence!! Dr J called us explaining the situation and then held him overnight until we could pick him up today. One of the endless reasons we highly recommend Dr J as he constantly helps our doggies, anyone we refer to him and as this shows every unrelated dog in between!! <br/><br/>Howlbert is a 8 year old neutered male beagle who we know nothing about other than he now has a new identity, a new town and a new DIET/exercise plan! He spent the entire night/day crated without showing any anxiety symptoms so well be evaluating him on that too. So far hes beyond sweet, mellow, friendly and what youd imagine a typical older beagle to be like.
