Howie von Holzen is a gorgeous 2 year old long haired German Shepherd mix. This is a happy and spirited pup who would love to join an active home team. Very sweet and with dashingly-handsome looks, Howie has the potential to become a fan favorite. He sweetly leans against you to be petted all over. While he’s motivated by treats during his training, nevertheless he takes them gently and loves to hear enthusiastic praise from his trainer. He’s working hard on his leash behavior, quickly learning commands and corrections. He wants to be a good team player among other dogs, meeting them well and walking nicely with the pack. He is comfortable off-leash in playgroups. He takes his time exploring the yard and respectfully greeting the other dogs, mostly ignoring the antics of the others playing around him and avoiding any potential personality issues.
