MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle Lab-Rhodesian Ridgeback-Pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 5-1/2 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better! He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. He's a big snuggler and will want to share your bed. He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping he can find a home by the end of the year. Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. He weighs about 55-60 lbs. Howie is still in California, but can be transported to you in Washington. Please email for an application.
