Howie is a 3 or 4 yr old Shih Tzu, who is about 11 lbs. He is a snuggle bug. He loves to cuddle, watch TV with his owners, and sleep in the morning. He is quite the character. Howie is house and crate trained. He would do best as an only dog. Howie is great with cats, older children and adults. He is an amazing companion who makes his foster family laughs lot with his silly noises and expressions.<br/>Howie is in a foster home in Wichita, Kansas and will not be shipped. Requirements to adopt Howie are as follows: His adopter will have to be in the Wichita Metro area or surrounding area; no out-of-state adopters because we need to do a home visit. A secure fenced yard is a must and invisible fences are not acceptable. A veterinarian reference is required showing that your present/past pets are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered and on heartworm prevention. His adoption fee is $200.00.
