Meet Howdy

Howdy has lived his whole life on and off a chain without shelter until our partners in Louisiana stepped in. His previous owner kicked him in the jaw and left it to get infected. His jaw may have been broken at one time and he's currently getting a work up so that he has a great future. Despite his abuse Howdy is a really happy and very sweet young 12 month old boy. He is a little unsure of new things at first but he is not fearful. He is a super playful and happy boy who loves to explore the toy box and pick out a favorite or two. He is a quick learner and willing to please. He is good with dogs and cats. He likes to have his ears rubbed and to sit by your side. He is just a handsome little fellow and will make a gentle human a wonderful companion! He is full grown at 28 lbs.
