Hot Cocoa's Story
Meet Hot Cocoa, a 2 year old 49 lb heart worm negative lab/terrier mix who arrived with Marshmellow, both girls having skin issues and being malnourished. Hot Cocoa has been treated, gained some weight and she's more than ready to find her forever home.
Hot Cocoa went out on a day trip with some volunteers and they said "she is such a cutie-patootie and just loves giving lovins to everyone she meets." She was great in the car, does well on a leash, pulling a bit, but does calm down when reminded. She was great with the kids she met too! She visited Purrs McBarkin', Kalmia Gardens, Wild Heart Brewing Company and Bryerly Park. She enjoyed some zoomies at the park, but seems to be a lower energy gal and would love to be a couch potato with you by her side.
During play groups she was good with the other dogs she met, happy to hang out with them. Hot Cocoa has had a rough past but that's behind her now and she's ready to enjoy life with you.
