Hoshi 's Story
Hoshi came to us after his family had health issues and ended up loosing their home. He was severely matted down that he had seedlings of something growing in the mats and had bones from a dead animal (believed to be a mouse) entangled in with the cockleburs, sticks, manure, etc that was encrusted into his fur. Because of the state of his coat we shaved him down, after consulting with a dog groomer for best options.
Hoshi, is overweight by 15-20, estimated, he's currently 95#, our vet said to get 10 pounds off and re-evaluate him. He goes on at least one walk a day, cut back to scheduled feeding and portion control.
Aside from that, Hoshi has been brought current on vaccines, is negative for Heartworm, Parvo, Giardia and Coccidia. He is microchipped and neutered. He is housebroken and crate trained. He isn't much for playing with toys but does like bully chew sticks, nylabones,, and exploring. He tends to like to remain within eyes shot of his human most of the time. and loves attention. Even though he is currently shaved and growing his coat out, he should be brushed daily to stimulate growth besides build bonding..
Hoshi isn't bad on leash walking, he gets along with cats and hasn't had issues with dogs he meets...it has been the other way around with strange dogs grumbling at him for no reason. He also likes kids.
If you would like more, please contact the foster mom, as she is taking control of the whole adoption process and meet and greets.
Call/text (218)640-1930.

P.S. Hoshi does not have any entropion issues with his eyes, they are very good. Something common with the breed.
